10-27-98 Awwright, I know what you're saying...and I don't really give a big rat's foot what you think, because much unlike most of you buffoons out there, I stick with my team through the bad times, just as I celebrate during good times. It's been too long since I've celebrated the Skins, but I think I remember doing it. Anyway, we are 0-7, with the Giants coming to town this Sunday. This whole mess started several weeks ago against these guys. I really think we would have won that game were it not for two bonehead throws. I wonder if the season would have been a little different if we had won that one, but I digress. I think we will actually win this weekend, so check back here next week and see what else I have to say. BTW, Norv, get a new QB before the end of this year or you won't have a chance to on the Washington sidelines anymore. later... | ![]() |

11-03-98 Well now, all you non-believers, I told you we would win this one. The NYG are really horrible, I guess. Their offense was just horrendous. This game should have put the Skins within a couple games of first in the division...being as the NFC Least is so weak this year (what happened there?!). We should really have 3 wins instead of 1, but oh well. Now we go to Arizona where we never seem to play well, but I'm gonna do it again...we will win this one, as well! The defense now seems to think, err...I mean "know" that they can play. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know NY sucks offensively, but confidence goes a long way in this league. | ![]() |

11-08-98 !#@%$@$&#!!!!!! OK, I think you get the point. Well, once again, the Skins managed to snatch a defeat from the jaws of certain victory! ...and they did it in such convincing fashion. In the history of the league, I bet there hasn't been a team that did the little things it takes to lose any more consistently than the '98 skins! How frustrating. But, if there is anything "good" to get out of this total debacle, it's the fact that they didn't help the Cowpatties like they did when they beat NY. It's always something positive when you don't help those @%$&%!@. See ya next week, when we play Philly again...that should be another blockbuster headliner for the FOX network. :) later... | ![]() |

| 11-17-98 Cake walk baby!! Heh heh...it's usually been the other way around this year, but we rolled easily over the pathetic Eagles. Wow...we actually lost to this team a few weeks ago! I knew we would win this one, and it looked very easy. Unfortunately, it is too late to salvage a decent year, and we are yet to beat a decent team, either. :( We've got the Cards again this week, at The Jack. Speaking of the Cards...did anyone see that travesty of a game they played last week. They give the Cowballs 2 turnovers deep in their own territory that were converted into easy TDs, and then, after an incredible comeback, the refs decided to quit a few seconds before the game was over!! I know I've heard all that crap about "the refs don't want to decide the outcome"...OK, well then, from now on, it's a FREE FOR ALL on the last play of the game! Do whatever the hell ya want to do cause the refs ain't gonna call a penalty on the last play! Does that make sense?! No, of course it doesn't.....if a penalty is committed.....THROW THE FLAG! It shouldn't matter WHEN it's committed!.......but I digress.......as I was saying, we play the Cards at home, and we should beat 'em this time. I just hate to see the Cow%$@! have all the luck...it'll change...soon...cya | ||

11-25-98--O.K., so I'm late posting this week :( I didn't get to see the basketball game...er...45-42?...it was a basketball game wasn't it?!... anyway, FoxSports showed the Minn./G.Bay game instead (can't understand why the Hell they'd do that! heh heh). I was, however, keeping tabs on the Skins over the net. Down 31-0... and actually had the ball with a chance to win. But....if you have been watching them the least bit this year, you just knew they would blow it...and sure enough, they did exactly what it took to lose. Not much I can say, 'cept I was impressed with Trent's ability to bring 'em back, but NOT impressed with the "D"!! JUST MAKE ONE STOP AT THE END AND WE WIN, 38-42!! Oh well, and so it goes for the team of woe. More later..... | ![]() |

12-04-98--Late, late, late...again...sorry (as if anyone is actually checkin out this site) Anyway, we made quick work of the Raiders last week. The ball finally decided to bounce our way, for a change. A little...rather, ALOT too late to salvage this season. I still pull for them every week, but at some point one would think the "higher-ups" would start thinking about next year's draft choice. :) I know the players would never slack off, cause their jobs depend on it...and I'm not suggesting that they should do it either ;) buutttt.....2nd pick overall sure would be nice! I guess the Cowballs will clinch a playoff spot either this week or next. :( The bright side of that, of course, is that they will be nothing more than fodder for the REAL playoff teams that they will face. Check their schedule...no wins against a team with a winning record. (unless, of course, you wanna count a .500 team that's not going to the playoffs) What a joke...they managed to prevail over an inept division...don't know what the heck happened to the NFC East. cya in a few days...check the pic below for my feelings about Dalless. | ![]() |

| 12-07-98--O.K., first things first...another big win for the Skins! Still... "too little, too late" as the saying goes. The upside is that Trent is gaining some confidence, and if he is gonna be THE MAN next year, he will need plenty of that. I truly think the team will be inspired by the effort of some "non-starters" and get their arses in gear this off-season and be ready to roll next year. Now, to the second order of business this week...just when I thought I couldn't despise the Cowboys any more than I already do...they made it possible to do just that! (By the way, nice game against the Saints! hahhhahhahhahha!...you suck! 8 yards rushing! hahhahah!) ...but I digress... The Cowballs, who had an ineffective Emma Smith on the sidelines, mounted one last effort to score Sunday, and managed to get to the 1-yd. line...and what did they do?! That's right... you guessed it! They bought in 'ole "Mr. 1-yard plunge" himself...Emma Smith!...to try and set a record...what a joke. He has built an entire career behind a bunch of fatasses (good blockers, though), and 1-yard TD runs. While Emma doesn't seem to be cut from the same soiled cloth as many of his teammates, he still shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as running backs like Sanders and Payton, who built their reputations as superior backs, basically, on their own. Give either one of these guys Emma's offensive line, and they would be (or would have been) impossible to contain, and conversely, put Emma in Detroit or Chicago for his whole career, and would have been out of the league after about 4-5 seasons. Oh yeah, back to the game...Emma tried twice to get into the endzone, but was dropped for losses both times!! It was great!! Cya later... | ||

12-31-98-- Well, this my last post for 1998! Sorry it's been so long, but I've really been busy this Christmas season. Hope everyone has had a nice holiday season...except for all Cowboy fans!...hope you all got choked on a yule log! Anyway, I missed posting on all the good Skins games...and, of course as we all know, that came to a grinding halt on the last game, last week. What a crappy way to end a crappy year! As long as Dallas gets "shelled" in the playoffs, it won't be so bad, I guess. We effectively screwed ourselves out of a top draft choice (or should I say the Ricky Williams draft choice?). Looks like we'll get #5 and maybe #11 or #12...not too bad. I really think we need a good DE or DB, but it will hard to pass up Warrick from Fla. St. if he's still there! Just hard to say...we will probably need another QB, too, if Frerotte is gone. Just have to see...I'll be back with more during the playoffs, so check back...cya! | ![]() |

1-3-99--Well, well, well, what a great thing to post as the first entry of 1999! TOUGH LUCK COWBOYS...hahahahahhahhahaha!! That was so awesome yesterday. Good job Arizona! I sincerely hope this is the end of the Cowballs for quite some time. The supposed "Big 3" looked like crap...cept for maybe Emma. Troy "Ache"man and Michele Irvin didn't do anything! Next year, if the other NFC East teams step it up just a little bit, the Cowballs shouldn't compete. Never know though, but I certainly am ready for their downfall...and it is drawing ever so close. (hehe) I'll be back soon...to discuss the rest of the playoffs. | ![]() |
